### Procurement Information

Gladstone MRM Limited is the provider of the Leisure Management System currently in use by the University. The system has been fully operational since approximately 2018 following a compliant tender process and is embedded within the University's systems and operational processes. Due to the technical integration of the system and the University's operational reliance on it, there is no suitable alternative that would provide equivalent functionality without significant disruption. Transitioning to an alternative solution would result in substantial implementation costs, operational risk and service disruption. The University has therefore determined that competition is absent for technical reasons and that the continued provision of the Gladstone Leisure Management System and associated services is necessary to ensure continuity of service and system integrity. Accordingly, the contract has been awarded under Regulation 33(1)(b)(ii) of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
