The procurement utilised a selective "Restricted procedure" under the GCA G-Cloud 14 Framework. The contract, signed on 24th June 2026, is valued at £265,911.52. The buying organisation is located in Hamilton, UKM95, and sought to fulfil criteria aligned with multiple information security compliance schemes, including PSN, PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials, DPA, and GDPR.

This procurement offers significant opportunities for SMEs, particularly those specialising in ICT security services. With the awarded supplier being e2e-assure, a company identified as an SME, it demonstrates the viability for small to medium enterprises to engage successfully in such contracts. Businesses with expertise in threat management, 24/7 security monitoring, SOC, incident management, and compliance with information security standards may find themselves well-positioned to compete for similar projects. The contract’s focus on community benefits reinforces the importance of engaging local SMEs, further supporting business growth and offering avenues for participation in local events and developmental trusts.
