Our aim is to repair damage on 313 ha of peatland within RSPBs Oa nature reserve on Islay, so that the blanket bog can restore its functionality. Peatland restoration activities will comprise of blocking artificial drainage and erosion gullies and reprofiling steep bare face peat hags and former peat cuttings.
