### Lot Information

Lot 1

River Clyde Homes is looking to procure the services of an experienced contractor to undertake ad-hoc installations of modular galvanized steel access ramps. The ramps must be compliant with building and planning regulations for wheelchair users. The contractor will be solely responsible for the preparation and submission of any necessary Building Warrant and planning approval applications where these are required by legislation (including drawings). The ramps should be made of expanded galvanised metal, with top surface warm touch top rails, and child safe infills. .A galvanised steel/black powder coating must be applied to handrails. The contractor will be required to undertake the necessary ground preparation works, such as the provision of barrier film and stone chips under the ramp and the laying of new slabs at the end of the ramp to provide landing area for wheelchair use The supplier will also provide a demounting and storage service and use of stored parts for new installations. On completion of an installation the supplier shall remove their plant, equipment and unused materials and clear away from the premises all rubbish arising from the works leaving the premises in a neat and tidy condition. Supply and installation of ramps must be completed no later than 9 weeks after instruction from RCH, or 9 weeks after receipt of any building warrant and planning approval if required. A 3 year warranty should be provided for all ramps installed, and maintenance inspections and certification of each installed ramp are to be undertaken annually. Ramp installations depend on the particular needs of individual tenants, and referrals being received from an occupational therapist. There is therefore no guarantee of the volume of work which may arise from this contract.

Renewal: The contract will run for an initial two-year duration. River Clyde Homes may wish, at our sole discretion, to extend any resultant agreement for up to a further 2, 12-month periods subject to the mutual consent of the successful tenderer.
