## Notice

NHS Grampian is seeking to procure a complete turnkey replacement flatwork ironer line for its laundry operations. The requirement includes the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, warranty support and handover of a new feeder unit, ironer and folder/stacker system, together with all associated controls, ancillary equipment, documentation and support services. The successful Contractor shall provide a complete operational solution, including all labour, plant, materials, transport, supervision, commissioning activities, training and documentation necessary to deliver a fully operational system. Works shall include removal and disposal of existing equipment where specified, mechanical, electrical, steam, pneumatic and control connections, integration with existing systems where required, testing, commissioning and site acceptance activities.

Lot 1

The Contractor shall provide a complete replacement flatwork ironer line comprising, as a minimum: Feeder unit. Flatwork ironer. Folder/stacker. Associated control systems. Ancillary equipment and fittings. The Contractor shall be responsible for: Delivery of all equipment to site. Safe movement of machinery into position, including lifting operations. Removal and disposal of existing equipment where specified. Installation and connection of mechanical, electrical, steam, pneumatic and control systems. Provision of consumables required for commissioning. Testing, commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). Production support during implementation. Operator and maintenance training. Provision of operation and maintenance manuals, drawings, certification and commissioning records. Warranty support and defect rectification. The Contractor shall ensure that all installation activities are planned and delivered in a manner that minimises disruption to ongoing laundry operations. Minimum Standards of Technical and Professional Ability Tenderers shall demonstrate: Experience delivering comparable flatwork ironer, laundry processing or industrial laundry equipment projects. Competent personnel with appropriate technical training, qualifications and experience. Suitable health and safety management arrangements. Appropriate quality management procedures. Ability to provide training, commissioning, documentation and warranty support services. Capability to manage subcontractors, manufacturers and specialist suppliers where required.. The successful Contractor shall provide O&M manuals,as-installed drawings,wiring diagrams, commissioning records,test certificates,compliance declarations,software backups (where applicable), spare parts information, and all training and handover documentation necessary for acceptance. A minimum 12-month warranty shall be provided covering parts, labour and travel associated with warranty repairs.
