## Summary

Transport Scotland, operating as the buying organisation, has completed the procurement process for the "Development Management Advice and Auditing Support Services" under the procurement ID JUL561279. The process was conducted in the services industry category and relates chiefly to transport management advisory services. The project is situated in the UK, specifically in the UKM region. This procurement reached the award stage, and the contract was signed on 30th July 2026. The procurement followed a selective process, known as a restricted procedure, with contract award notices documented in July 2026. Transport Scotland's role includes acting as a statutory consultee in planning processes under the Scottish regulations, and the project supports the Scottish Government's Road Safety Framework to 2030.

This procurement presents a substantial opportunity for businesses offering consultancy services in development management, road safety, and active travel sectors. The contract, valued at £3,000,000, was awarded to large-scale international firms Jacobs U.K. Limited, SYSTRA Limited, and AtkinsRealis, highlighting the scale and specificity of services required. Businesses capable of delivering comprehensive advisory services related to transport management and consultation, especially those with expertise in managing the safety and efficiency of trunk road networks, are well-suited to compete in such tenders. The framework facilitates growth opportunities for companies that can augment public sector efforts in achieving casualty reduction targets and ensuring operational efficiency.
