The requirement to deliver food from production sites to import locations is partly due to certain locations not having adequate facilities within their premises to cook the volume of meals required. This requirement was previously delivered in-house by Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability (NRS), however over time NRS' capacity has reduced. ### Lot Information Lot 1 This will be a 4 year framework. The main objective for this procurement exercise is that the council requires the support of suitable Supplier(s) to deliver a robust and reliable courier service aligned to the council's objectives and maintaining the high standards required at all times. The Supplier(s) will be required to operate a high quality, safe, green, reliable, efficient and cost-effective service and have sufficient fleet size, type and capacity to meet the service requirements on behalf of the Council. The Council requires the Supplier(s) to deliver and uplift food containers from various Production Kitchens and deliver to various drop-off locations within the Glasgow catchment area.
