## Summary

UHI Perth is seeking a suitably qualified and accredited training provider to deliver the Part 66 component of its BSc (Hons) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Management course. The service covers delivery of BSc Aircraft Engineering training, supporting learners to achieve the required aircraft engineering qualification in line with recognised standards. This is an education and professional training service, classified under CPV 80500000 and 80510000. Delivery will take place at UHI Perth in Perth. The requirement also includes community benefits linked to employment and recruitment, skills and training opportunities such as work placements, work experience, careers events or site visits, community engagement, and wider economic, social or environmental wellbeing benefits additional to the main contract purpose.

The procurement has reached tender: UHI Perth invited offers through an open procedure. Bids must be submitted electronically in English by 5 October 2026 at 12:00, with bid opening at the same time. The estimated contract value is £500,000. The contract period is 1,440 days, with the possibility of renewal through a re-tender. Evaluation is weighted 60% technical quality and 40% price. Tenderers must provide staff names and qualifications. Participation uses the Single Procurement Document, covering suitability, economic and financial standing, and technical and professional ability. Variants are not allowed. Electronic payment and ordering will be used, and electronic invoicing is permitted.

This opportunity suits specialist aviation education and training providers able to deliver the Part 66 element of an aircraft engineering degree. Bidders need recognised accreditation, appropriately qualified teaching and technical staff, and the capability to support learners towards the required qualification while meeting applicable aviation training standards. The requirement is suitable for organisations with experience in aircraft maintenance engineering education, structured learner support and delivery of higher-level technical training. Providers must be able to identify the staff and qualifications proposed for the service and demonstrate suitability, economic and financial standing, and technical capability through the Single Procurement Document. Suppliers able to offer placements, work experience, careers events, site visits, apprenticeships or wider community benefits may also be well placed.
