Contract 55 - Electronic Security 2024-2026
Notice Description
The Authority invites suitably experienced providers for the above Framework for skilled service to provide Minor Building Works Services to Schools and Public Buildings. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the repair and replacement of intercom systems (both in individual flats and within communal blocks) and video access systems. This could include works as a result of a system operational failure, vandalism, general maintenance or a system upgrade. The Authority has approximately 288 intercom systems across its domestic property portfolio, the majority of which are the Videx system. Typical works required include, but are not limited, to: - o Replacing electronic keeps o Replacing locking mechanisms o Repairing or fitting replacement audio intercom systems o Repairing or fitting replacement video intercom systems o Repairing or fitting pullcords This Framework will require differing values and complexities as required and is for an initial two year duration with the option to extend for up to twelve month at a time, twice at the sole discretion of the Authority. It is anticipated up to three Framework suppliers will be appointed. The operation of the Framework is included in the Authority Requirements. The specific Projects details that may be procured under this Framework Contract cannot be clearly defined at this stage, however, some additional detail is provided in the Tender documents in the form of volumes and values. The Authority will liaise with the Successful Framework Contractors(s) to commence the Framework as soon as possible after Award. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. LOT INFO Lot 1 Bricks, Sand & Cement, Plaster and Small Aggregates A maximum of 3 Contractors will be on each Lot, there is no limit to the number of Lots you can bid for, where you are unable to provide a price for a product, the Authority will apply the highest price submitted from all bids and you must price at least 80% of each Lot being applied for Interested Suppliers must access the Tender documents for further information, which are available to download immediately in the electronic tendering Portal, NEPO Portal, the link to the NEPO Portal and is provided in additional information Contract Duration The initial contract is for 24 months after which renewals will be undertaken in accordance with the Authority's contract Standing Orders and at the sole discretion of the Authority.24 months with an option to extend for up to a further 2 x 12 Award Criteria The full detail's of the award criteria are included in the Tender Documents and it is envisaged that up to 3 (three) Contractors will be appointed to the Framework. The Tender is available via the NEPO Portal (Procontract/Proactis) and responsed must be submitted via the NEPO Portal.
