Notice Title

WCC - Engagement and Co-production Framework Agreement Market Testing

Notice Description

With the current contracts coming to an end and the retendering due to commence early 2022 we want to ensure we have access to specialist support for a wider range of customers groups. This market testing is being done to explore several options/themes; innovative practice in this area and any associated risks and issues during our procurement process with potential bidders to inform the tendering process. This engagement also provides an opportunity for organisations to demonstrate their capabilities or interest in delivering these services. We are looking to build on good practice happening around engagement and co-production and further improve the support offered around engagement and co-production work within the council and our partners. Within Strategy and Commissioning, People Group we see engagement and co-production as mechanisms for ensuring that the people in Warwickshire, of all ages, have a route to influence development and design of local provision and services where they are supported to share their views, opinions and solutions including what they need and where they need it. Engaging people in the design, delivery and evaluation of services throughout the whole commissioning cycle means the services we commission are co-produced with customers, and therefore more likely to result in services that are meeting needs and outcomes and delivered in ways that customers will use. Currently we commission some providers to deliver things on our behalf for those with disabilities and mental health conditions. We are looking to extend this reach and consider all customers who use WCC services. Our vision is to embed engagement and co-production work as an integral part of day to day practice within all elements of commissioning cycle and ensure a consistency in how it impacts on and improves lives across Warwickshire. We plan to develop an engagement and co-production multi-provider framework agreement: o to support you where specialist resource is needed to help us and our key partners deliver engagement and co-production work within all areas of the commissioning cycle and our work o gives us to flexibility to buy specialist support as and when needed from the suppliers who are awarded a place on the framework, subject to funding being available o which is available from the 1st April 2022 Additional information: Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this market testing. Providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest and download documents. The web address for CSW-JETS is: www.csw-jets.co.uk Registration and use of CSW-JETS is free.
