Notice Description

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of a Specialised Intervention Service for Children and Young People on the Autistic Spectrum. This contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing 27th February 2017 until 26th February 2020, subject to the continuing availability of funding and a successful annual review (including achievement of Key Performance Indicators). Through this Specialist Intervention Service a Specialist Worker will provide direct support for children and young people on the Autistic Spectrum (and their parents / carers) who are known to the Sexually Harmful Behaviour (SHB) team. The Specialist will also provide information and support for SHB staff, and staff of partner organisations working with this group of young people , including those young people identified as exhibiting autistic traits but not formally diagnosed, and their parents / carers. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
