MENTAL HEALTH INVOLVEMENT FORUM BRIEF Interested organisations are invited to come to a Market Warming Event on Friday 27th November 2015 between 2-4pm. This is being held at the Hellenic Centre, 16-18 Paddington Street, London W1U 5AS. It will offer an opportunity for providers to hear about the shape of the mental health involvement forum that we will be procured across Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, West London and Central London Clinical Commissioning Groups and the timetable for procurement. 1.0 PURPOSE OF THE FORUM The mental health involvement forum specification has been coproduced with experts and people with a lived experience of mental illness. The purpose of the forum is to: * Enable individuals with a lived experience to feed back their experiences of services to two large mental health providers, General Practitioners and commissioners through an independent user led provider, reaching out to minority groups across primary, community and secondary care mental health services * Facilitate effective involvement for people with a lived experience at the start of any service review, redesign or development with commissioners and providers across primary, community and secondary mental health services * We want to ensure that mental health involvement groups make the best use of local resource to enable effective co-production and feedback of their experiences of services, using innovative approaches and modern technology to reach out to people with a mental illness in our communities. * A Collaborative bid would be welcomed for both lots. 2.0 GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE OF THE FORUM There will be two separate lots, one for Hammersmith and Fulham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) with Ealing CCG and another with West London and Central London CCG. 3.0 ESTIMATED VALUE Central, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and West London CCG's: Approximately PS360,000 combined. 4.0 ESTIMATED TIMEFRAME TO PROCURE THE FORUM ITT Advert issued - From early December 2015 with a deadline for submission of tender applications by mid- January 2016. Service Mobilisation Period: End March 2016-End May 2016 Service Commencement: 1st June 2016 5.0 REGISTRATION Organisation's wishing to attend the briefing are required to complete the attached registration form and return as per the instructions on the form.
