Procurement of Mobile Stage

Notice Description

Truro City Council manages the main outdoor events space in the City Centre, Lemon Quay, and works closely with community groups. It owns the main parks and open spaces in the City. It has identified a need for a rapidly deployable event stage for use in the parks, city centre or for community events. This will take the form of a mobile stage, on a trailer, which can be towed by a van/truck together with sound and lighting equipment (which will be procured separately). The City Council will also separately be constructing a garage to store the stage when not in use. Specification At this time the Council is not fixed on the size or specification of the stage save that it must be towable using a transit size vehicle or a small truck. We have therefore provided a range of sizes and would ask for tenderers to tender against this range, specifying the detail of their proposed equipment: - Dimension of Stage: Depth: 3.75m - 6.3m Width 4.4m - 6.8m Height: 4.4m - 4.6m Clearance Height: 3m -3.5m Stage Area 16.5m2- 42.82m2 Stage Floor: Slip Proof / weather Proof Way to level stage floor: Stage Roof: Way to lift roof: Manual / electric - hydraulic Yes / weather proof Manual / electric - hydraulic Height of stage floor: 0.80m - 1.2m Dimension of Trailer: Width: 2.3m - 2.54m - Length: 5.3m - 8.2m Height: 3m - 3.7m Installation / persons 1- 2 people / 15 - 30 min Total weight: Towing capacity 1500kg -2700kg Van / pick-up Additions: PA Wings PA Wings Roof Supports Wind wall extensions 1. Instructions for submission of Tender a. Tender Submission * The Tenderer must provide all documents as listed in the Tender Submission Checklist. * Tenders shall be submitted in accordance with and subject to the terms of these instructions and other documents comprising the ITT. Any Tenderer not complying with this ITT in any way may be rejected by the Council, whose decision in the matter shall be final. * All written entries shall be written in English in INDELIBLE BLACK INK suitable for photocopying and signatures shall be followed by the name of the signatory in printed capitals. All sections of the Tender must be completed.
