Notice Description

Housing & Care 21 has over 3500 employees, with an average of 13.7% day's absence per employee within the last 12 month period. This includes both short term and long term sickness, with short term at 3.5% days absent per employee. An Occupational Health service is vital in assisting Housing and Care 21 in managing the sickness absence (both short term and long term) within the organisation and to provide assistance with pre-employment health checks prior to candidates commencing employment. The service provided will be for employees, managers and the Employee Relations and HR Team who assist managers in dealing with sickness absence. We have 600 managers working nationally across the organisation who will need to be able to access the OH Service in order to manage the sickness absence of their teams. The service therefore needs to be accessible, easy to use and efficient. The objective of this tender is to appoint a suitable, experienced supplier to provide a cost effective, high quality and reliable service for Occupational Health. It is expected that the chosen supplier will be responsive and thorough in their dealings with Housing & Care 21 management and staff and hold the required level of experience, knowledge and expertise to provide the support and advice necessary.
