Vehicle Washdown Drainage Alterations Works

Notice Description

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority has a requirement for drainage alterations at seventeen (17) of its Fire Stations. The Scope of the Works is to include but is not limited to the following: * The alteration, modification or the introduction of new drainage as indicated on the project drawings. * All relevant WAC testing that may be required at each site to allow for the disposal off site of any surplus materials. * The provision of a CCTV survey of all altered, modified or new drainage. * The jet washing or cleaning of all altered, modified or new drainage at the conclusion of the works at each station. * The sealing of all joints between all new and existing surfaces eg where trench excavations have been through either flexible or hard surfacing. * The provision of a weekly photographic record of all works being undertaken at the individual fire station sites. In certain instances a short video (via 'Smartphone') may be appropriate. * The operational capabilities of the fire stations is to be maintained at all times. This will require liaison at a local level with each fire station.
