Notice Description
Contract Award Notice - IAPT The Authority recently had developed a tool to process submissions to the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) data collection using the logic as detailed in the IAPT Tariff Model. The tool is currently being used in a pilot project to evaluate the tariffing model and will be required from the end of June 2016 until the end of June 2017, at which point a decision will be made as to a national implementation. The Authority requires system support to ensure the maintenance of operational stability and configuration of the tool during the pilot project. The pilot project is currently running and is expected to be completed in 2017. The tool was originally commissioned from Woodward Associates who have provided development and operational support to date. However, a further 12 months support is required in order to complete the pilot project. The Authority has therefore placed a 12 month Contract re-let with Woodwards Ltd on the following basis, that; 1. The tool was developed by Woodwards Associates and as such, support and change management is best provided by the same supplier, due to their familiarity and expertise with the current pilot tool. 2. While an alternative similar tool could be developed, the cost of doing so would be prohibitively high compared to re-letting the extant solution. 3. Application for approval to roll-out a nationwide tool is currently in progress and expected prior to the end of a 1 year re-let. As such the requirement will be competed in full at that point. Contract value is PS30,000 which is assured by Limit of Liability/Maximum Price contractual clause.
