Neighbourhood Assistant X8 Rate of Pay: ?11.02 (PAYE) Hours: 37 Hours per week Location: Various locations across the borough of Sandwell Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: We are a dynamic and responsive housing service that is continuing our journey to transform our services. We remain committed to providing an agile approach towards how our teams work and how our customers can access our services. Our housing teams are customer-focused and solution-orientated ensuring that they safeguard our tenants and support them to prosper in their homes. We are looking for experienced housing professionals with a passion for championing the voice of our tenants, leasholders and our wider community. This is an important front-line post which primarily deals with housing management functions such as: o letting new tenancies; o dealing with anti-social behaviour; o estate inspections and management; o undertaking home visits; o identifying and supporting vulnerable tenants and residents; o delivering a range of landlord functions; and o working with specialist teams to ensure that services are coordinated on a geographical patch within a designated town. o You must have excellent communication skills; a strong ability to deal with complex issues; experience of having worked in a social housing / customer service setting as well as the ability to work in a demanding environment. We continue to use technology to work in an agile manner between home and office. You must hold Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 qualification or equivalent as a minimum Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs.
