Notice Description

For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition this is to initiate a Market Engagement/Soft Market Testing process. The Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and NHS Partners are seeking to redesign and set up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The DPS will enable call offs to be made for a range of high quality specialised community based services to support adults and young people through transition from Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The services will support adults and young people who have a Learning Disability, Autism, Mental Health and or Personality Disorder, Forensic History, Acquired Brain Injury and other complex needs. Some Service Users may be subject to legal restrictions such as a Community Treatment Order. We are seeking to support collaborative working and more integrated commissioning/delivery. As part of the market engagement process, an event will be held to obtain feedback from interested providers to help shape the model and future provision. Services may provide long term support in either Registered Care Homes or Supported Living settings during the 24 hour day and will include day opportunities. The DPS will include multiple providers across multiple lots covering numerous diagnoses & needs for Crisis Prevention and Response; Respite Care; and Step Up/Down Support. The providers will offer services that :- * prevent or delay the development of care and support needs * reduce current needs * meet carer support needs * offer choice and control for the citizen and where appropriate their families. * Enable citizens to live in the community in their own home The event will be held on 23rd January 2017 at the Kingston Centre, Fairway, Stafford, ST16 3TW A Market Engagement Questionnaire which will shortly be issued on the E tendering Proactis system for interested providers to complete, will also give the opportunity to input into the model and shape the future specification.
