Summary of the contracting process

Hull City Council is inviting qualified organisations to participate in the Young Persons Health and Lifestyle Survey 2016, which falls under the industry category of market and economic research. The open procurement process commenced on 1 December 2015 and concluded with the award on 25 November 2015. The project requires a minimum of 4,000 completed questionnaires from young people aged 11 to 16 across Hull, with the contract scheduled to run until 18 May 2016. The maximum budget for this contract is £35,000, and bids exceeding this amount will be rejected as non-compliant.

This tender offers significant opportunities for organisations specialising in market research, polling, and statistical services, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). With the focus on gathering and analysing data from a younger demographic, companies with experience in conducting youth surveys or community engagement projects would be well-suited to compete for this contract. The need for comprehensive fieldwork and thorough reporting also presents a chance for firms with strong project management capabilities to demonstrate their expertise.
