Dear Business, The newly formed HMG Major Events Unit within Government will be hosting an Events Suppliers Engagement Session during the Annual Commercial Conference event on 21st September 2023 in London. This description contains details about what you can expect from the session and invites businesses interested in attending to please respond via the url link attached. EVENT SUPPLIERS & HMG ENGAGEMENT AFTERNOON DATE; Thursday 21st September 2023. TIME; 1400-1600 LOCATION; Green Park, London (the exact location & address will be confirmed to those who have secured a place when joining instructions and final agendas are issued). To allow for the most fruitful discussions and networking, this will be an in-person event only. However, this hopes to be the first of many sessions where we shall consider other regional locations & virtual capabilities in future such events. ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION; This session will focus on engaging with event suppliers to provide an opportunity for businesses who may be less-familiar in working with Government to understand the HMG event services procurement routes. The session aims to clarify the Government commercial process, offer an opportunity for event suppliers to understand how HMG buys for events, and how the framework processes operate. There will also be an opportunity for a case study and fact-finding session on any barriers and enablers, as well as time for Q&A and networking. A final agenda will be issued once places are confirmed and joining instructions issued. HOW TO EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST IN ATTENDING; Please complete the form available by the URL link by midday BST Monday 4th September to express your business' interest in attending. Please be advised that due to capacity limitations and an ambition to welcome a wide-variety of events businesses, we will only be able to accommodate 1x representative attendee per business. Spaces are limited and will be issued on a first come first served basis. We may not be able to accommodate all requests on this occasion.
