University Hospitals of Derby and Burton Foundation Trust have a capital scheme in which to create a new neonatal unit at the Burton Hospital. The project is due to the current unit being unfit to meet the latest standards and showing signs of wear and tear. The Trusts intention is to refurbish clinical spaces and then to flip two departments.
