Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process is initiated by The University of Nottingham, seeking quotations for a Laser Analyser System under the title "1776/RFQ/SC - Laser Analyser System". This tender falls within the electrical equipment and apparatus industry category and is located in Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. The open procurement method is being utilised, and the tender stage is currently active. Interested suppliers must submit their expressions of interest by 13th May 2022, with the contract expected to commence on 17th May 2022 and lasting until 16th May 2024.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in analytical equipment and technology, particularly those that provide laser diffraction systems and particle size analysis solutions. Suppliers capable of supplying both lots—an integrated laser diffraction particle size analyser and a nano particle size and zeta potential analyser—will find this an advantageous bidding opportunity. Businesses that are innovative in their approach and can offer value-added training and support services will likely be well-positioned to compete successfully in this procurement process.
