Notice Description

Essex County Council is seeking to award a contract for the design, development, and operation of two Independent Living (aka Extra Care) schemes in two locations in Essex. This procurement seeks to identify a bidder to undertake the development and operation of buildings on ECC land, and to provide an on-going care service to the residents of the scheme. In exchange ECC will be granted nomination rights to the scheme and be able to place Adults to receive care services from the on-site provider. The procurement is divided into two lots; Lot 1 - Coppins Court, Clacton-on-Sea and Lot 2 - Hillhouse, Epping Forest. Bidders are able to bid for both lots concurrently or only a single lot. The procurement will be carried out as a restricted two stage procedure. To access the procurement documents the bidder is required to use the following access code: 7BEA88B57E Stage one will open at 12pm on 27th September 2017 and close on 8th November 2017.
