Summary of the contracting process

The Oxfordshire County Council has initiated a tender process for the provision of post-adoption therapy services under an open framework. The contract, with a value of £2,200,000 GBP, is open for applications until September 7, 2022. The therapy services will be focused on supporting children up to the age of 21 (or 25 for certain cases) who have been adopted and require emotional and behavioural support. The procurement process will involve a call-off basis from the Open Framework, with the contract period commencing from January 20, 2023, to January 20, 2026.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses in the health and social work services sector to provide post-adoption therapy services within specific regions across England. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations are encouraged to apply. Suitable businesses must be able to deliver therapeutic support to adopted children and young people, helping them improve emotional regulation, behaviour, learning engagement, confidence, and family relationships in line with the Adoption Support Fund (ASF) guidelines.
