Summary of the contracting process

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Software Development Partner, specifically within the healthcare industry in the North West of England, with a procurement process currently in the planning stage. Interested organisations should contact the Trust's Head of Business Intelligence and Software Development by 5:00 PM on 23rd December 2015. The aim is to gather information from qualified companies to support and enhance several in-house developed applications, including their Electronic Patient Records system. While no formal procurement exercise has been confirmed following this engagement, it presents an opportunity for potential suppliers to understand the needs of the Trust.

This partnership represents a significant opportunity for software development firms, particularly those with capabilities in Classic ASP, SQL, C#, and MVC frameworks. Companies with experience in ITIL-compliant support, agile development, and quality assurance processes will be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. Furthermore, businesses that offer helpdesk support within agreed service level agreements and have a customer-focused approach are encouraged to express their interest. Engaging with this tender could be an advantageous step for organisations looking to expand their footprint in the health sector.
