17 091 Provision of a Fully Managed Service for Energy Supply (Gas and Electric)
Notice Description
The Council is seeking to make provision for its gas and electricity requirements from 1st April 2019 for a period of three years. The Council intends to procure a fully managed service whereby the Managed Service Provider (MSP) will purchase energy for and on behalf of the Council via a EU compliant framework, which amounts to approximately PS6m per annum within its Corporate, Street lighting and Schools portfolio (including Academies).It will provide a flexible purchasing method of procuring energy and will provide an end to end billing and management service. It will take the form of a single contract with the MSP negating the need to have a separate contract with the energy supplier.This procurement exercise will be conducted on Cheshire East Borough Council's electronic Contract and Tender Management System at the www.the-chest.org.uk Organisations wishing to be considered for this contract must register their expression of interest and provide additional required information through the Contract and Tender Management System. If you have any technical problems with The Contract and Tender Management System please contact the help-desk on: ProcontractSuppliers@proactis.com or 0330 005 0352.In order to participate, providers must register, complete and upload completed documentation and submit this via the Chest at https://www.the-chest.org.uk.
