Notice Description

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust are looking to invite expressions of interest and formal quotations of potential providers who will be able to undertake a '1 Day Project Management Course' for Clinical and Non-Clinical Staff. This course does not require participants to obtain any formal qualification. What is needed: A 1 day project management course (for non project managers). Ability to provide courses in Norfolk and in Suffolk (can use in house training rooms if needed) Course to include: Understand the role of a project leader Establish the project definition, objectives and specifications Knowing how to structure a project Understand the planning stages/steps for a successful project How to ensure the project meets the objectives on time and within the budget. How to monitor and control the project, including understanding and managing interdependencies and changing requirements Understand the key roles of a project team How to successfully lead a project team How to present the project Timescales: Delivery needs to start before the end of 2017. Ideally starting in October November and running through till March 2018. Audience Operational project leads (new to the role or inexperienced). Supervisors/Team Leaders, Managers (all levels), At this stage, the Trust is unsure of how many courses they wish to run. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
