SBC CCTV Provision repair and maintenance services Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of CCTV covering install repair and maintenance of hardware and software to support the system SBC has a large spend on CCTV Camera purchase repair and maintenance Much of the spend is off contract with the majority being spent with one company the current spend annually is in the region of 225 000 covering new purchases maintenance and repairs of cameras and equipment this spend cannot be guaranteed for every year of the contract This spend is a mixture of goods and services but places the organisation in an area of risk under current procurement legislation The purpose of this tender is to centralise the control of the CCTV spend with the Security Team with an agreed supplier through a tender process This aligned with a CCTV policy being prepared will also enable tighter control of CCTV paperwork reducing the chance of data breaches and ensuring compliance with GDPR requirement SBC has a large spend on CCTV Camera purchase repair and maintenance Much of the spend is off contract with the majority being spent with one company the current spend annually is in the region of 225 000 covering new purchases maintenance and repairs of cameras and equipment this spend cannot be guaranteed for every year of the contract This spend is a mixture of goods and services but places the organisation in an area of risk under current procurement legislation The purpose of this tender is to centralise the control of the CCTV spend with the Security Team with an agreed supplier through a tender process This aligned with a CCTV policy being prepared will also enable tighter control of CCTV paperwork reducing the chance of data breaches and ensuring compliance with GDPR requirement The initial contract term will be for 36 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months 1 periods of 24 months for a potential total contract term of 5 years as stated in the ITT documents.
