ASC003/2019 Focussed Care and Support Framework
Notice Description
Middlesbrough Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced Providers who wish to be considered for a contract on the Focussed Care and Support Framework for persons aged 16+. This will replace the existing Disabilities, Enablement and Support Framework and the Mental Health (functional) Framework. There are 4 Lots: Lot 1 Learning Disabilities - To provide enablement care and support in supported accommodation and in the community to persons where the primary need is learning disabilities. It is recognised that some individuals will have needs that do not sit under any one of the primary support needs above, but whose care and support can be met through this contract, for example: individuals with autism. Lot 2 Mental Health (Functional) - To provide enablement care and support in supported accommodation and in the community to persons where the primary need is mental health. It is recognised that some individuals will have needs that do not sit under any one of the primary support needs above, but whose care and support can be met through this contract, for example: individuals with autism. Lot 3 Physical Disabilities - To provide enablement care and support in the community to persons where the primary need is physical disabilities It is recognised that some individuals will have needs that do not sit under any one of the primary support needs above, but whose care and support can be met through this contract, for example: individuals with autism. Lot 4 Shared Lives (Separate Specification but will sit under the Focussed Care and Support Framework) - To provide a service whereby service users are matched with carers who open their homes and can provide enablement care and support on a permanent, short stay respite or day care arrangement. Tenderers have the opportunity to bid for all Lots and may be awarded all Lots.
