Summary of the contracting process

The Harrow Council is inviting tenders for the "Headstone Manor & Museum Works" project, aimed at transforming a significant heritage site located in the London Borough of Harrow. The project is currently in the Tender stage, with the tender period concluding on 13th January 2016. The anticipated contract is set to begin on 1st April 2016 and aims for completion by 1st May 2017. This construction works project, classified under the CPV codes related to construction and architectural services, has an estimated budget of £2,500,000 and has secured Heritage Lottery funding to support the development.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in construction, architectural, and engineering services, particularly those experienced in heritage restoration and conservation. Companies with a background in delivering complex construction projects, especially within historical contexts, would be well-suited to compete for this contract. The project not only offers a chance to contribute to the preservation of a 1200-year-old heritage site but also to engage in the wider regeneration efforts to establish the Headstone Manor & Museum as a regional attraction, potentially leading to further contract opportunities in the future.
