Summary of the contracting process

The University of Wolverhampton is seeking tenders for the "21-03 Electrical & Data Installation Services (Dayworks)" project, which falls under the works category. This procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with submissions accepted until 5th March 2021. The contract, which is expected to start on 1st June 2021, will last for three years with potential extensions. It covers multiple locations in the West Midlands and is divided into three lots, accommodating a range of electrical services and data installation works. The procurement method is selective, aligning with the restricted procedure for contracts above the threshold.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in electrical and data installation services, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in these areas. Eligible contractors should possess the necessary insurances and certifications, such as Constructionline membership and NICEIC registration, to compete. Given that this project may also involve funding from European Union programmes, businesses with experience in publicly funded projects are encouraged to apply. Companies can tender for individual lots or combinations thereof, making this a versatile opportunity to expand service offerings in the competitive public procurement landscape.
