The contract requires contractors to deliver a software fit for purpose within the Waltham Forest Control Centre and Incident Management team. The purpose is to ensure the efficient management of incidents within the Borough. This is critical to inhouse delivery of major and critical incidents. The software needs to: * Improve Incident Response Times To provide the Borough with an efficient way of handling major incidents that will rationalise the process and give staff more time to concentrate on the event that is occurring. * Target individuals, groups, or use dynamic rules to reach the right people To communicate the incidents and the threat of incidents to the right people in a timely manner. * Easy to use To automate event communications, giving the relevant information to the right people when required. * Ability to receive information via an App/Email/SMS/Mobile and Landline, also capable of posting to social media sites Enable the staff to map events in locations within the Borough Allow the viewing of mapped assets in relationship to threats/events. * Audit trail Record the responses to incident notifications and therefore track when responses were received * Document Management Enable all Business Continuity plans to be stored in the system, thereby allowing staff access to the information they need without contacting the Crisis Management team.
