Notice Title

DUD - Community Resilience Programme

Notice Description

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking quotation submissions from suitably experience organisation to transform the relationship we have with local residents, communities and our partners to ensure that local people are at the heart of everything we do. We have some great examples of working in this way but recognise that a shift in organisational culture and practice is required across the system to build a stronger, connected more resilient community. Partners in the Borough have developed a vision that puts resilient communities at its heart and have made developing new ways of working with communities a priority, through the refreshed health and wellbeing strategy. Our community resilience transformation programme includes a number of current work streams and future plans, but is not yet fully developed. We are seeking additional capacity to further develop the programme and lead its delivery, under the direction of the Community Resilience Transformation Group. This group is chaired by the Strategic Director for People (Martin Samuels), includes Chief Officers for Children's Services, Adult Social Care, Health and Wellbeing and Housing, and reports to the Council's Transformation Delivery Board. We are seeking high-level co-ordination and expert oversight of the development and delivery of the community resilience transformation programme. We require evidence and best practice to be shared in relation to increasing community resilience and transforming public services, external challenge and expertise in relation to the projects included within the programme, and experience of delivering transformation and culture change within a complex multi-agency system. The contract is for 6 months. The maximum budget is PS75,000. The service must be provided in accordance with the Terms & Condition contained within this quotation invite. A presentation and interview will follows the initial evaluation to clarify the results and confirm the successful organisation is recommended for award. Additional information: This exercise is being conducted in electronic format. Documents will be published to the Dudley MBC Black Country Business website.
