Notice Description

Bristol City Council have commissioned a full range of homeless prevention services for the following cohort of groups including Single Persons Rough Sleepers Services, Young Peoples Homeless Accommodation Service, Homeless Families Accommodation service plus a Floating and Resettlement Support Services. These services have been set up for effective intervention work to be delivered to groups of people with housing related support needs. Clients often approach us with additional complex needs such as mental health illness, physical and learning disabilities, substance and alcohol misuse, refugees, single parents, and care leavers plus young people who are faced with homelessness. Bristol City Council is proud to work with partners who are commissioned by Housing Options, to not only deliver a service but also work with extremely vulnerable cohorts of people. Our Providers are passionate about the services they deliver and are driven to want to achieve the best outcome for everyone they work with. In 2011 Bristol City Council was awarded the City of Sanctuary by the National City of Sanctuary Network. This was in recognition of both the councils commitment and the depth and breadth of support for the movement at a local level. In 2023 we are still working to this ethos.
