Notice Description

Dersingham Village Centre Manor Road, Dersingham, PE31 6LN Tenders are invited for the above work which comprises part demolition of the existing Church Hall and construction of a new Village Centre. The works are to be carried out on behalf of Dersingham Parish Council. Arrangements for visiting the site can be made with the Clerk. Please note the following requirements of tendering contractors: * The contractor must be able to demonstrate successful completion of previous projects of a similar nature to the value range PS600,000.00 - PS1,400,000.00. Case studies and testimonials are also welcomed. * The contractor must be able to demonstrate a turnover of at least a minimum of one and half times the contract value or a minimum of PS1,000,000.00 which, ever is the higher * The contractor must provide current Public Liability Insurance certificate. The above information should be provided for consideration by the employer within 14 days of expressions of interest or receipt of the tender, whichever is the earlier. Tenders must be prepared strictly in accordance with the terms of the Preliminaries. Each individual item must be priced as set out in the Bill / Specification, the Collection Sheet must be fully completed and the fully completed documents must be returned. Failure to comply with these, and the other, requirements may render your tender unacceptable. To access the documents, including those mentioned above, you can visit the Parish Council Office in person*, or contact the Parish Clerk who will provide you with a link to a secure file. *Office hours are Monday and Tuesday 10:30 to 14:00, Wednesday 10:30 to 12noon. However, arrangements can be made outside these hours. Your completed tender must be received in our office by not later than 12 noon on Wednesday 22nd February 2017. Other important information: * The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 will apply to this project. * The works will be carried out with support from the Big Lottery Fund. The contract award is dependent on securing all grant funding. * The Party Wall etc Act 1996 will apply to this project. * A Public Right of Way exists on or in close proximity to the construction site. * It is expected that work will commence late June/mid July and will last for a maximum of twelve months.
