Notice Description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) are working for, and on behalf of, NHS South Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), who wish to commission the provision of a No-Scalpel Vasectomy Service for patients registered with a NHS South Tyneside CCG GP.The contract term will be 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory financial and contractual performance from 01 September 2020. The initial contract term will commence on 01 September 2020, ending on 31 August 2023. The extension period, which will be awarded at the discretion of the CCG will commence on 01 September 2023 ending on 31 August 2025.NECS is managing the procurement process for and on behalf of NHS South Tyneside CCG. NECS is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with potential providers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued to potential providers, and all communications and submissions will be conducted via the In-Tend Portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/nhsnecsu/aspx/Home.Should bidders have any queries, or are having problems registering; they should contact the In-Tend helpdesk via:support@in-tend.com or on 0845 557 8079 / +44 (0) 114 407 0065The helpdesk is open Monday - Friday between 9am - 5.30pm.The tender documentation will be available on the In-Tend Portal from Monday 17 February 2020 and the closing date for submission of tenders is 12.00 noon on Thursday 19 March 2020.
