Notice Description

We are seeking a new Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programme provider(s) who can offer a service to Suffolk County Council, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Services, Schools and Academies and other public sector employers in Suffolk and more widely across East Anglia and beyond. We are specifically interested in or require a service which will: * Be outcome focussed, with associated service level agreements and service credits, leading to an overall reduction in absence * Allow referrals and issue reports online * Include a significant element of wellbeing services, including but not limited to wellbeing clinics / kiosks * Manage all requirements linked to a Fire Service, including new recruit medicals and routine periodic medicals * Manage all requirements linked to schools and academies * Have a day one absence reporting facility, for employees to call in when absent * Manage ill health retirement processes for various pension schemes, including Local Government and Firefighter pension schemes * Offer telephone and face-to-face appointments, with Occupational Health Assistant (Nurse) and Occupational Health Physician (Doctor) in a timely fashion, in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft, but with appointments available at other locations on request * Specialist treatment will be available, including o Inoculations o CBT and counselling o Physiotherapy * EAP services should be Freephone and available online and via webchat and include counselling / support in relation to o Life, relationships and family - including legal issues and debt management o Health & wellbeing - including grief and loss, stress and cognitive behavioural therapy o Work and career - worklife balance, time management, stress management and career planning Market Engagement Events will be held at Endeavour House, Ipswich on the following dates/times: * Friday 20 January 2017 14:00-17:00 * Friday 27 January 2017 14:00-17:00 * Tuesday 31 January 2017 14:00-17:00 Please email rmcommbusinesssupport@suffolk.gov.uk confirming which dates you can attend and any preferences (we will do our best to accommodate these but this cannot be guaranteed).
