Notice Description

This Contract is for a Vehicle Management Solution (VMS), which is initially made up of the following four key elements. Element 1 - the supply, install of equipment/hardware (in build installation and retrofitting) Element 2 - Solution integration with existing vehicle hardware. Element 3 - Provision and maintenance of a system to support the management of the equipment/hardware. Element 4 - recording of footage and the storage and retrieval of video footage to support incident investigation. It is acknowledged that the Council may wish, should it be economically viable, to extend the requirements under these arrangements. This will be addressed as part of a second phase and may include other in cab technology such as vehicle telematics. Therefore, the provider is required to work with the council to address new and emerging technologies and how ensure that value or money solutions are put in place.
