Notice Description

Canterbury City Council wants to commission information and advice services with a particular focus on welfare rights and housing advice. Based on strong evidence of continuing local need, the provider will need to offer a range of welfare rights and housing advice services for local people. The council wants to encourage early intervention and targeting of services to meet those in most need. This will help to ensure effective coordination and information sharing on service capacity and delivery issues to avoid duplication and ensure effective referrals. The provider/s will ensure that the services offered fully align with and compliment the district wide services offered by Canterbury City Council, in particular through the Housing and Community Services Teams Additional information: Instructions to Suppliers: Expressions of interest will only be accepted via the Kent Business Portal (www.kentbusinessportal.org). Note that in order to successfully submit your interest you will first need to register for an account on the portal. After registration is complete and you've received your login details you should return to the advert for the opportunity and express your interest. You will then receive an email giving you a link to the documentation provided and be able to access the tender documents. The tender documents are required to be completed and submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 13:00 on Friday 15 December 2017.
