Summary of the contracting process

Nottingham City Council is conducting a tender process titled "CPU 2157 Care at Home Services for Adults Accreditation." This initiative aims to create a new Accredited Provider list for organisations to deliver care at home services for adults throughout the City of Nottingham. The contract is valued at up to £55,641,250 over its lifetime, which is anticipated to last three years with a potential four-year extension. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, and the deadline for submitting tenders is 8 November 2019. The contract is set to commence on 1 April 2020, with a completion date targeted for 31 March 2027.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in social care, particularly those offering home care services. Companies equipped to handle comprehensive care tasks, including health-related services, would be well-positioned to compete. Additionally, the fixed hourly payment structure could benefit larger providers experienced in managing residential and healthcare services. As Nottingham City Council seeks to enhance its network of accredited service providers, businesses in this sector should consider participating in this accredited supply chain.
