Notice Title

GB-London: Driving Growth through Localism - quantifying the potential impact of fiscal devolution

Notice Description

LGA wishes to commission a review of the potential benefit to the UK economy that moving from the current centralised system to the OECD average for decentralisation would generate. In addition to a UK figure, in GDP percentage terms as well as what that converts to in pounds given current GDP levels, LGA wishes to investigate the possibility of generating figures for England and for each of the nine English regions. We understand that this is a complex piece of work and any analysis will need to be robust and transparent with a clear and defined methodology that will stand up to scrutiny and interrogation. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
