Notice Title
Provision of Witness Support Services for Brook House Inquiry
Notice Description
The Brook House Inquiry will be tendering for a supplier, with experience of working with vulnerable inquiry witnesses and supporting them to give their best evidence, to provide wellbeing support to its witnesses during the Inquiry. In particular, support will be required in the run up to witnesses giving their witness statement evidence and evidence live to the Inquiry. In addition, support will be required during the hearing periods as well as the run up to publishing the report and during the period in which the Inquiry is issuing warning letters to individuals. During hearings the Inquiry would need to ensure that support could be provided in a face-to-face context (this will require having 1 or sometimes 2 wellbeing advocates available for each hearing day depending upon the number of witnesses giving evidence) Depending on cost, time and COVID19 restrictions, support at other points described above could be provided by telephone or video conferencing solutions. Interested parties should contact Andy Nunney, Commercial Manager, by email to andy.nunney@homeoffice.gov.uk. Applicants should set out their capability and experience to provide this service. Applicants should also confirm that they will be available to provide the service for the full contract term. Dependant upon the number of applicants a down-selection may be required. Additional information: Here is a link to the official website of the Inquiry:- https://brookhouseinquiry.org.uk/ It sets out the full details of the Inquiry and includes its Terms of Reference.
