Chiller replacement at Solihull Hospital
Notice Description
THE WORK: The works are briefly described below under their relevant Bill Section: - 1. Isolation, draining down, making safe, disconnection of and the removal of the existing Trane ECGAF 214 420 kW roof mounted Chiller from site and its safe disposal. 2. Removal and modifications to existing chilled water pipework in preparation for the installation of the new 450 kW Trane Chiller. 3. The complete supply, delivery, off-loading, hoisting, installation, testing and commissioning of the new air-cooled packaged Chiller. 4. Supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of new Chilled water pipework to interlink the new Chiller with the existing chilled water headers on the roof including all trace heating and insulation. 5. Refilling of the systems with water/glycol (20% by volume). 6. Disconnection of existing, and installation/modification of new Automatic Controls and replacing with a Schneider system. 7. All associated electrical, BEMS and controls works. 8. All associated thermal insulation works. 9. All associated lifting and hoisting. 10. Training and demonstrations. 11. Provision of As Installed drawings plus full Operating and Maintenance manuals. 12. Carrying out the role of lead and principal contractor and all associated H&S works. It is essential that when formulating the detailed construction programme the Contractor takes account of the need to liaise with the Specialist subcontractors to ensure that the overall programme allows adequate time for all trades (including manufacturing lead in time, off site fabrication and commissioning). The Contractor will be deemed to have included in their tender price for the costs of importing all necessary additional labour and/or overtime charges to ensure that the works are completed on time. (These are Pre-Qualification Questionnaires or Invitations to Tender open to any registered supplier) - Browse the ITTs (there may be more than one page) and select 'itt_31380' by clicking on it. - Click the 'Express Interest' button at the top of the page - This will move the PQQ /ITT into your 'My PQQs/ My ITTs' page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only) - You can now access any attachments by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in the 'PQQ/ ITT Details' box; 3. Responding to the Tender - Click 'My Response' under 'PQQ/ ITT Details', you can choose to 'Create Response' or to 'Decline to Respond' (please give a reason if declining) - You can now use the 'Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification - Note the deadline for completion, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the PQQ/ ITT - There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).
