Contract Summary
Background information The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) delivers Tribunal Hearings for Doctors out of St James's Building (SJB) in Manchester. These Hearings are hosted by MPTS staff in one of nine (9) Hearings rooms at SJB with participants joining virtually or being present in the room for the Tribunal. These are multi day events held in one of nine (9) Hearing rooms of roughly identical size. MPTS is looking to upgrade its current video conferencing experience within these rooms, which is currently provided by Poly VC room systems, complimented by the Poly Clarity solution to provide integration with Microsoft Teams. We also have eight (8) Meeting rooms with details of locations and sizes of these rooms can be seen in the floorplans (see Annexes B and C). Key objectives - To successfully transition our SJB office space (hearing rooms and meeting rooms) to Microsoft Teams Rooms - To replace VC kit where required - Ensure current hearings are uninterrupted by this work - To complete the works by the end of 2024.
