The provision of COVID-19 testing services to cover Surge requirements, along with relevant reporting and forecasting. This forms part of the additional lab capacity that is being purchased on top of the already existing lighthouse labs. These extensions for the contract are an urgent requirement to meet a critical need for additional Covid testing within Pillar 2 of Test and Trace and DHSC is relying on Regulation 32(2) (c)of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 for the extension of the contract.
