Specialist Pharmacy Service
Notice Description
The Provider is responsible for the Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS) Patient Group Directions (PGD) content on the SPS website. The Provider is required to deliver the update and maintenance of the PGD Information and guidance on the SPS website. An enquiry handling service for users requiring specific advice about PGDs from the PGD Website Specialist Pharmacist . Enquiries are made by email sent to the Specialist Pharmacist . Answers to the enquiries are to be drafted by the Specialist Pharmacist following the Standard Operating Process (SOP) agreed by the Provider and Commissioner. The process includes an auditable external quality assurance and sign off process using the PGD service Board members. The Provider takes responsibility for the quality assurance of all advice provided
