Contract Summary
The Medicines discovery Catapult (MDC) on behalf of the Lighthouse Laboratory (LHL) at Alderley Park invited quotations for a document management system (DMS). The system itself is a way of holding and controlling the documentation that describes, runs, and records the Lighthouse Lab's operation such as policies, procedures, risk assessments, records, training materials etc. The system will ensure version control, review, sign-off, and any training that is required on the documents. A DMS is an effective means of giving and controlling access to necessary documentation to all employees. Since the estimated contract value was below OJEU financial thresholds, a bespoke procurement process was designed whereby a selected group of suppliers were invited to submit quotations.
