Notice Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND NOT A TENDER PROCESS Buckinghamshire Council has a statutory duty to provide education for pupils who, have specifically defined Special Educational Needs as set out in their Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and this may also include therapeutic input. The Council is looking to develop a Dynamic Purchasing Vehicle (DPV) a hybrid between a dynamic purchasing system and a framework for children or young people who may not be able to access school or FE College and either require a new EHCP or a change to their existing EHCP. Suppliers will apply to join Lots on the DPV and, if successful in meeting the required thresholds, will be accepted onto the DPV. Individual packages of Non Registered Alternative Education Provision and Therapies will then be sourced through routes identified including mini competitions, and awarded accordingly. It is intended that the DPV will become the primary way for the Council to commission Non-Registered Alternative Education Provision and Therapies going forward. The DPV will be utilised for all new packages of Non Registered Alternative Education Provision and Therapies from the go live date. Any providers that the Council currently works with will need to apply to join the DPV to be able to bid for future packages of NonRegistered Alternative Education Provision and Therapies. Lot 1 Academic Tutors Lot 2 Vocational Lot 3 Bespoke alternative provision Lot 4 Therapies e.g OT,SALT, Physiotherapy Suppliers are invited to participate in this exercise by completing the attached questionnaire.
