WCC - Fostering Psychologist Support

Notice Description

Warwickshire Fostering Service is reporting an increased number of fostering placement breakdowns, leading to poorer outcomes for young people. This is a result of a number of reasons, such as the increase in complexity of young people's needs, and is not unique to Warwickshire. However, the Fostering Service is seeking to address this challenge by developing the range of support offered to foster carers and fostering social care staff to maintain placement stability. The current Psychologist Support contract is due to end in November 2020, therefore Warwickshire County Council (the Council) is seeking a single supplier to provide a suitably qualified and experienced clinical psychologist who can implement a range of specialist psychological, psychodynamic and systemic interventions for foster carers and fostering social care staff, as identified by the fostering service. Additional information: Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this procurement process. Providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest and download documents. The web address for CSW-JETS is: www.csw-jets.co.uk Registration and use of CSW-JETS is free. All correspondence or clarifications relating to this procurement must be via the CSWJETS correspondence function.
