Job Title Business Support Officer (General Licensing Team) Rate of Pay: PS10.19 per hour (Inside IR35) Hours: 37 Hours per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Temporary (Agency). End Date 12 weeks from start date Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: We are looking for a Business Support Officer for the General Licensing Team. The applicant will need to have typing/word processing ability to OCR/RSA 2 standard or equivalent and a GCSE in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification. It is essential you have at least 12 months experience of working in a business support/administrative environment. You should be able to interact positively and communicate effectively at all levels; be self-motivated, taking a proactive approach to your work. You will be working as part of a team supporting a busy front-line service. Therefore, you should have the ability to both organise and prioritise your work ensuring you are able to meet deadlines. The ability to take minutes of meetings, work on your own initiative and contribute to effective team working is required. CVs required urgently. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs. No DBS is required for this role.
